When you create an account and use Chopam, we collect:

• Account information — name, email address, phone number
• Bank details — bank name, account number, and account name for payout processing
• Device information — browser fingerprint used to prevent multi-accounting and fraud
• Usage data — tasks completed, earnings, login activity
• Location data — country-level location from IP address for fraud prevention

• To operate your account and process earnings
• To send monthly payouts to your Nigerian bank account via Paystack
• To detect and prevent fraud, multi-accounting, and abuse
• To send in-app notifications about your earnings and account activity
• To comply with legal obligations

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Paystack — your bank details and payout amount are shared with Paystack to process your monthly transfer
• Offerwall networks — your user ID (not your name or personal details) is shared with task networks to attribute completions
• Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by Nigerian law or legal process

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase (Firestore) with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement security measures including server-side only balance updates, Firestore security rules, and Firebase Authentication to protect your account.

We use FingerprintJS to generate a unique device identifier when you log in. This fingerprint is used solely for fraud prevention — specifically to detect multiple accounts on the same device. It is not used for advertising or tracking across other websites.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or fraud prevention purposes.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Update your bank details at any time from the withdrawal page

Chopam uses Firebase Authentication which stores a session token in your browser to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the Platform. Continued use of Chopam after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
